Bus Party to Hell (2017)
Dir- Rolfe Kanefsky
A young lady looking to escape a creep in Las Vegas joins a random group of partygoers taking a bus to the Burning Man Festival looking to indulge in all sorts of debauchery and youthful indiscretions. Their bus appears to stall in the middle of the desert as their weird driver disappears leaving them stuck with no cell coverage or means of help. The group is then surrounded by a bloodthirsty satanic cult who kill many of the passengers and demand of the survivors that they turn over the chosen one. Bus Party to Hell is a gory fun time that offers viewers plenty of naked bodies and bloody body parts in a film that despite the violence is more camp than grindhouse. Fans of Tara Reid will be disappointed to learn that the Sharknado star is only in less than 5 minutes of Bus Party to Hell however, this should not deter you as the rest of the movie offers plenty to look forward to. The rest of the cast consists of lesser-known actors with Sadie Katz, Devanny Pinn, Aaron Groben, and Stefani Blake standing out as the besieged survivors who use what few items are on the bus to fight back. Bus Party to Hell is a fun indie horror film that makes good use of practical effects and buckets of fake blood to show that even B Horror movies can be as much fun as big studio releases.
