Holiday travel is often a horror story we all want to avoid, but as obligation dictates, we all have to face the inevitable journey home. Aitana and her partner Gabi travel from their home in Brazil to her family's villa in Spain. Aitana faces a cold response from her family and all the attention given to a stranger who has suddenly replaced her as a daughter. Aitana suspects the woman named Nadia has dark intentions, but is this jealousy or genuine fear? You Are Not Me is a 2023 Spanish horror movie directed by Moises Romera and Maria Crespo. Actress Roser Tapias portrays Aitana, and from her arrival, she plays the role of the estranged daughter who finds her family's indifference troubling. As the tension rises, her fears are pushed to the forefront as a series of bizarre visions all but confirm them. You Are Not Me has a great cast, including Ms Tapias, Jorge Motos, Anna Kurikka, and Yapoena Silva. As a holiday horror movie, You Are Not Me may lack the festive look of an American one, but it amps up the anxiety and fear, especially during the film's climax. One of the best holiday horror movies I have watched in recent years, You Are Not Me is an instant classic and a welcome addition to any holiday horror collection.
