Shark Waters (2022)
This Asylum release features a group of people going out on a fishing charter hoping to land some Yellowfin tuna and instead sailing into a swarm of deadly sharks. While the film does feature an attractive cast, it suffers from the faults often found in Asylum movies, including poorly done CGI, foolish characters, and despite being set far from shore, you can see the coast was nearby. The shark attacks were better than you would expect, and you can at least applaud The Asylum for coming up with a storyline that wasn't a ripoff of Jaws and instead uses the second Jaws movie for ideas. Shark Waters won't win any awards, but for a movie made by a company known for mockbuster Redbox fare, this isn't the worst of their films.
