Ouija Shark (2020)
A weekend pool party turns deadly for some young women when a mysterious Ouija board found near a body of water summons the spirit of a long-deceased and rather hungry ghost shark. Despite being a shark movie, the film spends much of its run time on nature trails in the woods and a backyard pool, likely due to budget reasons. Given its setting, this movie seems better suited as a slasher film than a shark movie, especially given its supernatural premise. Not to be confused with the slightly better Ghost Shark, Ouija Shark sinks into the depths with its mediocre cast and amateur production that pads a barely one-hour runtime with lengthy credits and an absurd surprise ending. Like most Wild Eye Releases, the poster art is the only positive feature of this dreadfully terrible effort.
