While most horror movie sequels fall into a sophomore slump, it is fair to say that Terrifier 2 elevates the game and surpasses the previous film with a solid script and a great young cast. While this movie may be titled Terrifier 2, it is the third film to feature the silent but ultra-deadly menace known as Art the Clown. Actor David Howard Thornton returns in the role that has made him an icon in the horror community. His portrayal in this follow-up to the 2016 cult hit elevates "Art the Clown" into the Horror Villain Hall of Fame. Far more brutal and gory than the previous film, Director Damien Leone spares no blood nor rusty tool to show horror fans that their long wait will be worth it. With no spoilers, fans of Terrifier will appreciate seeing Art the Clown fully unleashed on a new set of victims. In a breakout role, Lauren LaVera (Sienna) rises to the task of confronting the deadly clown along with Elliott Fullam (Jonathan), who portrays her younger brother. While the film takes almost two and a half hours to play out, there is plenty of action and intensity to keep fans interested in what will likely be one of the best horror sequels in recent years. Terrifier 2 is a solid horror film thanks to the skillful direction of Mr. Leone and the excellent cast that will make this film an instant horror classic.
