A troubled teen is sent to a reform school after he fights back against his bully, but when he encounters the same kind of bullying, the spirit of a deceased bullied girl offers to seek vengeance on his behalf. Some Kind of Hate is a supernatural horror film that follows a troubled teen who gets revenge thanks to a vengeful spirit. While not a standard horror trope, the film does have a sympathetic main character and terrifying spirit that seems to offer help with a deadly outcome. While some of the characters may seem cliche, the film presents a commentary on revenge and how there are often no easy solutions to problems in life. Some Kind of Hate may not get a lot of attention from the usual horror crowd; it does have a terrifying evil spirit worth checking out.
